The reason I put the onus on the borrowers is because they are, at least over here, putting no blame on themselves. I am bored of listening to people complaining about how the banks have ruined the country without accepting any responsibility themselves. We had the power to avoid this by not being greedy when we were offered loans beyond our means, we decided to take those loans and then try to blame everyone else. As I said, all are culpable.

With "single-aim pressure groups" I am specifically talking about those that only care about their own issue to the detriment of others (see my previous post). The point is that people need to understand the bigger picture, I have nothing against people campaigning for an overall goal covering all issues, but to campaign solely about the one that directly affects you whilst ignoring the others gets on my tits.

Just to throw another barrel of petrol onto the fire, I am also sick to death of people who say "nobody voted for this coalition government" - NO! Of course they fucking didn't! It wasn't an option on the form!!! If it had been an option then I would have probably voted for it because frankly we needed Labour out but I wouldn't trust the Tories or Lib Dems to run it on their own.
