There was a thing on TV last month or so, a girl wanted to furnish her dorm room at college with American made goods, but the catalog the school gave the students only had imported stuff. So Diane Sawyer went and found the American-made equivalent to everything in the catalog, and the total for everything the girl needed was actually cheaper for the American made stuff.

A spokesperson for the American company that had the bedding, the sheets and stuff, said if every State college would put their goods in the catalog instead of the (more expensive) imported stuff, the company would have to hire approx. 500 more people.

I can NOT believe this story didn't get more attention.
