Actually we are getting some severe t-storms in CT this afternoon. It reached 90F and a front is dropping in from the northwest. And one of the cells heading right for Hartford has generated a tornado warning. A warning means "it is happening" as opposed to a watch which means "there is a possibility of". Whether it will hold its strength by the time it gets here is another matter (most times they usually don't as they head to the Hartford area from the Berkshires) and even if there is a tornado it won't be a Moore, OK type of tornado. But the cell generating the warning is about 20 minutes away from me.

But Moore, OK is in what is called "Tornado Alley" which is apparent why they call the place that. In fact in 1999 Moore, OK was hit be an even larger F5 tornado which tore up the town and killed many.
