Democrats suffered stunning defeats in governors races in NJ and VA. Mike Bloomberg (I/R) had an unexpectedly close call in the NYC mayor's race. And the republican carpetbagger, Doug Hoffman, in NY-23 (upstate near the Canadian border), who was backed by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin, lost to a democrat. It has been over 100 years since a D has been elected to congress representing NY-23. The message to be taken from all of this is if you are in any way, shape or form associated with the powers to be in Washington or Wall Street (like Corzine and Bloomberg are)...and you put the interests of uber-wealthy and corporations ahead of the American people, your days are numbered. So anyway, shouldnt it have been Bloomberg (I/R/D) as he really is a Dem from way back. Further,Hoffman is a R but he actually ran as a C (conservative). The R (Scozzafava) is a RINO (R in name only) and has voted quite liberally as an R in her career. She's a female Arlen Specter (uses whatever label fits to get in office,,so out for #1 of course). She also threw her support to the D candidate after she dropped out due to lagging poll numbers. This after the RNC shelled out close to 1 million for her campaign. Theres loyalty. Wolf in sheeps clothing. Also, she still garnered 5% of the vote after dropping out. So I guess a 4 point victory for the D candidate running against a nobody is a huge victory haha. Speaking of carpetbaggers. Isn't Hillary from Arkansas by way of Illinois? Still not done...I can see Bloomberg and Corzine being Wall St bigwigs getting the business from people pissed at greed (I say if you make it ($), then good for you...no shame in being wealthy...as long as it was made legitimately that is of course) but does that apply to Hoffman? He's a CPA who doesnt like the reckless spending of our money by the elite ruling class politicians. Shame he wasnt elected. We need more actual,working people who have an understanding of the way the real world works and not just career politicians who suck the tit of the taxpayer all the while thinking they are superior to us and know what is good for the ignorant masses. Paragons of ineptitude is all they are. Term limits please.
