It's not funny or statement-making, but ideally I think I would opt for something painless & floaty, whether that happens all doped up in hospice or by a gas leak while I'm sleeping. In the current world, I'd like to die from a bullet while giving a radical, revolutionary speech. I'd rather not have my throat cut, but if it must happen that way, so be it. I just hope it gets televised, so that people wake the fuck up. In a meritocratic world, I'd like to die from old age. If it must be an accident, then by drowning or having a heart attack during a massive psychedelic orgy.

And from all the TV shows, films, books and comics I've seen and read, being immortal is simply fantastic! No down-sides at all!
